Plaid: Classic or Overdone?
Last night my mom and I got into a discussion of plaid shirts. I simply mentioned I was exicited for plaid to come back and my mom responded with disgust! "PLAID?" she responded. Apparently, too much plaid is overkill. One of my favourite looks is the "country style" probably because I've been riding horses since I was seven but for some reason plaid shirts, jeans and cowboy boots are so appealing! Especially if you have a kickass belt buckle.
Plus plaid can be worn multiple ways, they sell them short sleeve and long sleeve, flannel, cotton, dark colours or light you name it.
I headed over to Hollister's website to check out some of their plaid designs because honestly... Hollister is well known for their collared shirts and I actually love how Hollister fits me.

You can litterally get away with wearing plaid and turning it into any look from tomboy to daisy duke. So my question is, what do you think? Is plaid done? Has plaid been done for years now or will it live forever since it can adapt to so many different styles? What's your favourite plaid look?

I really like plaid. I think my favourite is Mary-Kate's baggy look but I couldn't find a picture of a country girl wearing a plaid shirt (buttoned with no boobs hanging out), jeans, boots & a cowboy hat so these will have to do. How would you wear plaid? Will it be in your closet this season? x
